28-year-old man survived a 2000-feet fall from Pavagadh mountain in Gujarat where he went for a pilgrimage. He was airlifted on Sunday. After paying obeisance at a temple, located on top of the mountain, he missed a step and fell down the valley. The Vadodara municipal corporation formed a rescue team of fire officials and mountaineers to trace Bharat who was pulled out on a stretcher tied with rope. Fire officials said bushes and thick grass saved Bharat who sustained a fracture in his hand.
